A ton of people tuned in to ABC on Saturday night for Michigan’s beatdown of Wisconsin.

More than six million people watched the Wolverines stomp all over my beloved Badgers, according to ESPN. That made it one of the top-five most watched games of the year.

This sure does hurt. First, my squad gets humiliated on national television and then I find out pretty much the whole section of the country interested in college football was watching. Could it get much worse? I highly doubt it. (RELATED: Michigan Massacres Wisconsin In A Bloodbath For The Ages. It’s A National Tragedy)

Why do bad things happen to good people? It’s a question we might never know the answer to. Haven’t I paid enough dues to not have my team get blown out in front of six million people?

I wish I had more optimism for all of you. I know you view me as the reluctant leader to lead you through these dark times, but I’m just not sure there’s anything left in the tank right now. First, we lose and then I find out just how many people watched. What a damn disgrace.

We’ll be back. I know we will be, but it’s just hard to sometimes see the light. We need a win and we need it as bad as we ever had.
