Rapper and musician XXXTentacion, real name Jahseh Onfroy, led what seems like a very dark life prior to his sudden death in June.
XXXTentacion, who was shot in his car at a parking lot in Florida, had many enemies. He dealt with a string of legal issues following domestic violence allegations and was popular for his aggressive songs. (RELATED: Rapper XXXTentacion Reportedly Shot In Florida)

XXXTentacion was shot before his trial for domestic violence could happen. The rapper was charged with aggravated battery on a pregnant woman, domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment, and first-degree witness tampering.

And according to a new report published Wednesday, XXXTentacion admitted to stabbing up to nine people and beating his pregnant girlfriend, Geneva Ayala, on a privately recorded cell phone video, obtained by Pitchfork.
On the recording, the rapper can be heard allegedly saying about his girlfriend:
I put my source of happiness in another person, which was a mistake initially, right? But she fell through on every occasion until now. Until I started fucking her up, bruh. I started fucking her up because she made one mistake. And from there, the whole cycle went down. Now, she’s scared. That girl is scared for her life. Which I understand.
Earlier on in the recording, the rapper can be heard saying he would “kill that b*tch if she play with me.”
He also admits to stabbing more people than the media originally reported.
“I’m on [Miami] New Times for stabbing, how many people they put in the news? They said three, it was eight,” he said.
The rapper then explained that this is why his girlfriend claimed to be afraid for her life.
“She’s seen this sh*t,” he said. “She know.”
But in an effort to explain his violent behavior, XXXTentacion provided some anecdotal evidence about his past.
You ever seen somebody get their tongue cut out? … You ever seen somebody get raped? … You ever seen somebody try to kill your mom in front of you? Every night you go to sleep and you remember what you seen and you remember how it felt and you remember that horrible feeling in your soul. Nobody can comfort you. It’s something I gotta deal with.
