A suspicious package was reportedly sent to a business owned by actor Robert De Niro Thursday morning.

A package resembling a pipe bomb was left at Robert De Niro’s New York restaurant Tribeca Grill in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood. The New York Police Department has contained the package without any detonation or injury and is not shipping it off to crime lab for investigation.

De Niro is a vocal Trump opponent, and has said Trump would not be welcomed in his Manhattan restaurants.

This incident comes on the heel of bomb scares across the country Thursday. (RELATED: Democratic Leaders Reject Trump’s Call For Unity After Bomb Scare )
