“Friends” star David Schwimmer made it clear on Twitter he was not the man responsible for robbing a restaurant in England.

A man who shares a striking resemblance to the actor was seen running out of a restaurant after allegedly stealing a variety of items in the U.K. The thief looks like he could be his twin. You can see a picture of the guy below.

Schwimmer tweeted a mock video of the robbery with the caption, “Officers, I swear it wasn’t me. As you can see, I was in New York. To the hardworking Blackpool Police, good luck with the investigation. .”

Ladies and gentlemen, that’s how you own the internet in a single tweet. The first guy goes viral for looking similar to Schwimmer, the internet notices, and the star actor responds with a hilarious video. See, everybody wins when nobody takes the situation too seriously. We also all know Schwimmer doesn’t exactly need to be robbing places. He is reportedly still making $20 million a year off syndication of “Friends.”
