The Boston Red Sox defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers late Sunday night to win the 2018 World Series.
The Red Sox put on a dominating performance as they won game five by a score of 5-1. I think it’s safe to say everybody was impressed with their level of domination from the start of this series all the way through the final pitch. Sox outfielder Steve Pearce was named the MVP after an impressive outing in the series, and hitting two home runs last night.

It’s also worth pointing out the level of absolute domination of Boston sports since the turn of the century. Since 2012, the city’s teams have won a combined 11 titles, which is simply a mind-boggling number.

Finally, we can’t talk about the Red Sox without mentioning one of the greatest entertainment/sports crossover moments ever from their 2004 World Series win.
