Anna Kendrick’s new movie “Stowaway” sounds like it has all the potential in the world to be a hit.

The Hollywood Reporter reported the following:

Anna Kendrick has signed on to star in Stowaway, a sci-fi thriller from XYZ Films.

According to the logline, Stowaway follows the crew of a spaceship headed to Mars that discovers an accidental stowaway shortly after takeoff. Too far from Earth to turn back and with resources quickly dwindling, the ship’s medical researcher (Kendrick) emerges as the only dissenting voice against the group consensus that has already decided in favor of a grim outcome.

First off, you can go ahead and sign me up for just about anything involving Anna Kendrick. She is one of the coolest women in all of Hollywood. It might just be me, but I very much get the vibe she’s down to just chill, watch football and drink beer on the weekends. I could be wrong, but I doubt it. Anybody like that is a woman I’ll gladly see the films of. (SLIDESHOW: These Women On Instagram Hate Wearing Clothes)

I mean, her Instagram handle’s abbreviation is essentially AK-47. That’s wife material if I’ve ever seen it. (SLIDESHOW: 142 Times Josephine Skriver Barely Wore Anything)

Secondly, this plot line sounds awesome. It sounds like it’s something straight out of Dwight Schrute’s brain, and I’m all onboard with that.

Anything that involves sci-fi, Kendrick and tough decisions while on a spaceship is something that I’m going to check out 10 times out of 10. There’s no doubt about it at all.

There is no scheduled release date for “Stowaway” at this time. Once I know it, I can promise you’ll all know it too. Let’s just all hope in the meantime this movie lives up to the insanely high expectations I’m placing on it.
