Kanye West shocked the world when he announced Tuesday night on Twitter that he would be “distancing” himself from politics.
“My eyes are now wide open and now realize I’ve been used to spread messages I don’t believe in. I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative,” he wrote on Twitter. (RELATED: Kanye West: ‘My Eyes Are Wide Open…I Am Distancing Myself From Politics’)

But some people are skeptical of the Kanye’s change in tone. Earlier this month, the rapper had a public meeting with Trump in the Oval Office, where he praised the president and claimed his red MAGA hat made him feel like “superman.”
So what changed?
Conspiracy theorists and blue checkmarks alike started zeroing in on the idea that Kris Jenner was behind the sudden change.

This comes just days after Jenner told Ellen DeGeneres that she would “rather he share some of that stuff privately.”
“He was sharing thoughts and things of himself,” she said. “But I would rather he share some of that stuff privately … he definitely has his own thoughts and opinions, and he gets very excited about that. You’ve known him a long time, I’ve known him a long time, and he does have different sides to him. And this is a side that nobody’s seen before.”
Kris Jenner has somehow turned her six daughters into multi-millionaires with virtually no talent whatsoever. So it wouldn’t be the craziest thing in the world to think she had something to do with Kanye’s sudden change in tone.
