Ladies and gentlemen, that’s a lot of eyeballs on “Sunday Night Football.” You know NBC has to be happy about that. The pregame also didn’t do too badly in the ratings department. Nearly 18.5 million people also tuned in for a recap of the day. (RELATED: NFL Week 9 Wrap Up: Here Are The Best Moments You May Have Missed)

Of course, it’s not entirely surprising. TV ratings for primetime games in the league are up across the board. With ratings on the rise and the Patriots playing the Packers, I’m not the least bit surprised more than 20 million people tuned in.

Anytime you have Rodgers and Brady playing each other, I think it’s a safe bet people are going to tune in.

Maybe the NFL should learn people want to watch the big teams play in the big games. Don’t give us bad primetime games! Give us games like the Patriots vs. Packers! It’s not that difficult.
