The Ottawa Senators locker room might be a bit tense after a video leaked of several players trashing the coaching staff.

The Ottawa Citizen posted a video of Matt Duchene, Chris Wideman, Chris Tierney and Thomas Chabot chirping about the people in charge and the way the organization is run. It’s believed the video was shot sometime in late October during a trip to Arizona, according to the same report.

“Here’s the other thing, too. We don’t change anything, ever. So why do we even have a meeting? I haven’t paid attention in three weeks,” Duchene said in the video.

He also added, “Marty Raymond, the only coach in NHL history to have the worst power-play and the worst PK [penalty kill] within a calendar year.”

You can watch the video below.

Well, that sure is going to be hard to explain to people in the locker room and the organization. First off, I love how this driver clearly doesn’t know a single thing about what is going on. He’s completely oblivious. It’s pretty damn funny.

Second, I would love to be a fly on the wall for when these guys get hauled in by management. I can promise you that conversation will be incredibly uncomfortable. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if one of them got benched or traded. As a coach, you simply can’t let your players run the show or be on video trashing the people in charge. You can’t let it happen. Senators management just can’t seem to catch a break lately, and now there is pretty much an insurrection.

What they need is a little Herb Brooks. (RELATED: You Should Leave The Country If You Don’t Love The Movie ‘Miracle’)

I sure hope it was worth it for these four players because I’ve got a strong feeling the hammer is about to be dropped!
