Is anybody really surprised Anthony is about to be shown the door? The guy needs to get up to a billion shots in order to do what he does best, which is score a lot. The man has been the center of attention and the center of the offense on every team he’s been on since high school. Now, he’s not even close to being the best player on his own team.
That’s a recipe for major problems, especially if egos can’t be put on the back burner.

I’m not entirely blaming Anthony for his struggles with Houston. The Rockets knew what they were getting when they signed him. They were getting a shooter who has to get a ton of touches on the ball. It’s that simple.

We also all know a new team will scoop him up the moment he hits the free agency market. He won’t be unemployed for very long at all. Hell, maybe he’s about to be a Los Angeles Laker with LeBron James. Now, that would send shockwaves through the league.
