A transfer decision from former Clemson quarterback Kelly Bryant won’t be happening in the next few days.

According to Woody Wommack of Rivals, Bryant has set Dec. 4 as the day for his decision. By that point, he will have visited Auburn, Miami, Mississippi State, Arkansas, Missouri and North Carolina. The dual-threat quarterback decided to leave school after losing his starting spot to freshman phenom Trevor Lawrence.

Out of all the schools he seems to be considering, Auburn is probably the safest bet. Yes, the Tigers are having a bit of a down year, but they provide him with the infrastructure and talent to succeed. Arkansas and North Carolina should be nonstarters for Bryant. Neither program will be competing for anything anytime soon. (RELATED: The Latest College Football AP Poll Is Here. Do You Agree With Number Three?)

It is also worth noting that Clemson hasn’t dropped off an ounce since Bryant decided to quit the team. Lawrence has the boys in orange and white absolutely rolling. They look like the only team capable of hanging with Alabama.

Now, that doesn’t mean Bryant doesn’t have a ton of talent. He obviously does. The man can run and gun with the best of him, but his lack of a great throwing ability hurts Clemson’s total upside on offense.

Still, no matter where he goes, the program will be getting a quality player.
