A Mississippi man was arrested this weekend after he allegedly crashed his truck into a courthouse to report a theft.

The incident happened early Saturday morning. Twenty-eight-year-old Keith Cavalier raced to the Harrison County Courthouse, near Gulfport, Miss., so haphazardly that he actually crashed into the courthouse. He then proceeded to alert the authorities that somebody had stolen his drug paraphernalia. (RELATED: Bride Arrested For DUI While Driving To Her Wedding)

His reasoning for crashing into the courthouse?

“Keith Cavalier told officers he intentionally crashed into the Harrison County Courthouse early Saturday because it was the best way to let them know his drug paraphernalia had been stolen,” NBC News reports,

He was promptly charged with driving under the influence, as well as malicious mischief and damage to the building. Cavalier is currently being held in county jail.

But you’ve got to hand it to this guy. He was just being honest! The poor guy had his drug paraphernalia stolen and had no choice but to report it to the authorities with force. Everybody knows that if you’re dealing with a crime of that stature, you’re basically obligated to crash into your local courthouse to deal with the situation. It’s that urgent.

This is some next-level thinking on Keith Cavalier’s part. He’s a visionary.
