Ball State quarterback Drew Pitt had a great celebration during a Tuesday night loss to Miami of Ohio.

Pitt rushed into the end zone after a score, and pretended to shotgun a beer. Will the NCAA be overly happy about that?

Probably not, but nobody gives a damn what the NCAA wants. We want to be entertained, and this stunt from Pitt was certainly that. Watch the funny video below.

I couldn’t tell you the first thing about the Ball State football program or Drew Pitt. I’m not into #MACtion as much as everybody else is. I prefer to focus my time and energy on programs that have an actual shot at the college football playoff.

However, I like beer and I do love college football. Any moment that combines the two of them is a moment I’m here to embrace. (RELATED: The Latest AP College Football Poll Has Arrived. Does Number Two Surprise You?)

You know Mr. Pitt is going to get a nice stern talking to from somebody, and he should do the rational thing, which is to completely ignore them. They’re not even a .500 team. Who the hell cares if he pretends to shotgun a beer?

He deserves a medal. He doesn’t deserve the scorn that I’m sure is headed his way.
