Pop Singer Rihanna had a one-word response to U.S. Border Patrol agents who fired tear gas at migrants who sought to enter the United States from the Tijuana border: “Terrorism.”

Rihanna made the remark as an Instagram caption for a post she shared by liberal journalist Shaun King. (RELATED: FLASHBACK: Obama Administration’s Border Patrol Shot Pepper Balls At Migrants In 2013)

The migrants were attempting to cross the border with some using violent tactics, like slinging rocks at border patrol agents, to get by. Police then responded in kind with tear gas.

Customs and Border Patrol (CPB) has come under fire from Democrats and other liberal activists for the use of tear gas, particularly when children were caught in the cross-hairs.

Recent reports, however, explain that migrants forced some women and children to the frontlines to throw rocks at police, effectively using them as human shields in their attempt to cross into California. Border Patrol arrested 42 people for attempting to illegally breach the U.S. border.

This isn’t the first time Rihanna has taken to social media to voice her political opposition to President Trump. In the past, she has condemned Trump for using her music at political rallies, turned down a halftime show in light of the NFL’s Kaepernick controversy and even met with French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss education reform.
