Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield is quickly trending in a bad direction.

Mayfield, who has played well on the field of late, just can’t seem to grow up at all. Following a win over the Bengals, he flamed his former coach Hue Jackson for joining the Cincinnati staff after being fired, but it didn’t end there.

For some unknown reason, he felt the need to jump in the comments section of a “First Take” post Monday on Instagram about the need for him to grow up.

There’s obviously no quicker way to show you’re growing up than to call your former coach “fake” on Instagram.

The young man was the first overall pick of the 2018 draft, and is on a deal worth more than $32 million. Maybe he should just chill out, stop behaving like a petty teenage girl and focus on playing football.

An NFL career doesn’t last forever, and right now he’s going out of his way to prove he’s not even close to being mature enough for the league.

He should take some free advice, and grow the hell up before he finds himself on the outside looking in.
