Alabama coach Nick Saban had an incredible answer when pressed about suspended defensive back Jared Mayden.
Mayden was suspended and ejected from the Iron Bowl against Auburn after delivering a shot to an opposing player’s head.

“I don’t know, but as soon as I get out of here I’ll call Kirby and tell him exactly what we’re going to do so they’d be able to prepare for that. You know, all of that. I’m not willing to share what we’re going to do right now, but I’ll call him, then you call him, and ask him and then he can tell you,” Saban responded when asked during a Monday press conference about the game plan against Georgia without the star defensive player in the first half. There’s nothing we love more than a great Saban press conference, and it’s comments like these that always keep us laughing.
Did the guy asking what the plan was really actually believe Saban was about to open up the playbook and walk him through it step-by-step? Give me a break. You don’t win multiple national titles by spilling your secrets.
Anybody who thinks Alabama is a little nervous against Georgia should rethink their stance because there’s no chance Saban is even a bit worried if he’s this casual.
Pray for the Bulldogs. They have no chance.
