Ben Roethlisberger wasted no time blame-shifting after the Steelers crushing loss against the Broncos Sunday evening.
The two time Super Bowl champion gave a fiery presser Monday, telling reporters that their 24–17 loss is ultimately one of their rookie wide receiver’s fault.
The accusation comes after Big Ben launched an absolute rocket to newly drafted receiver James Washington, but he failed to survive the ground.

“He has to make it,” Big Ben said Monday during his weekly appearance on 93.7 The Fan, via the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
“I just think he didn’t trust his hands,” he continued. “For some reason, he jump/dove. I’m not really sure what he was doing. We look at it (on film), and coach got on him pretty good yesterday. We took a long, hard look at it. James needs to run through that, and it’s a touchdown.”
His frustration isn’t exactly unmerited … Big Ben threw for 462 yards and the shocking loss broke the Steelers six-game winning streak.
Not to mention, the 5–6 Broncos may have a gilded path to the playoffs if they play their cards right. Here’s their schedule for the rest of the regular season:
With this future schedule, #Broncos either make the playoffs OR they fire Vance.

Let’s hope the Steelers figure this out before they have to meet the Chargers, the Patriots, or the Saints in their regular season.
