Tim Tebow still thinks he has enough gas in the tank to ball out in the NFL.

According to TMZ, Tebow told Paula Faris on her podcast Wednesday, “It’s still hard sometimes when I watch games and I’m thinking, ‘I can totally do that.’ Or, ‘I can be doing this or playing here or crushing that!'”

I hate to break it to Timmy, but he’d still be in the NFL if he had the talent. The man is a great athlete. I don’t think anybody has ever doubted that, but he struggled to throw a football. That’s kind of a big deal when it comes to playing quarterback. (RELATED: Here Are The Best Moments From Week 12 Of The NFL Season)

If you can’t throw, then you can’t play. I believe the same rules apply to children in fifth grade football.

Besides, he’s in the baseball game now. If he wants to get back into football, his only real options would be the XFL or AAF. The NFL? Fat chance, my friends.

Tebow was an outstanding quarterback in college because he really didn’t have to throw much at all. He could just power his way up the field and he was surrounded by talent everywhere.

That didn’t really translate well in the NFL when he was with the Broncos or anybody else. I would suggest he just moves on. He made his money, and the game is over for him.
