Rappers Cardi B and Offset are no longer together.
“I guess we grew out of love. We’re not together anymore. I don’t know. It might take time to get a divorce. I’m always going to have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father,” the popular female rapper announced in an Instagram video Tuesday night about her relationship with the Migos member. How am I supposed to believe in true love if the love story of a generation is over? These two, who were married in secret back in 2017, were arguably the most public couple in all of music. I want to sit here and weep in public. It’s moments like these that make me wonder if the whole world is a lie and we’re all bound for darkness.
The couple gave birth to a baby daughter over the summer, and it sounds like they’re on really good terms. That’s, I guess, all you can really ask for these days.
Yet, I’m always going to wonder next time I meet a woman if we’re bound for a Jack and Diane story only to end up like Cardi B and Offset. Those are the kind of thoughts that keep me up at night.

Damn, I guess the world is a cold and cruel place. I hate to say it, but it might be time to officially declare love is dead and just accept that fact.
