Week 15 of the NFL is underway, and —
Alright, alright, alright. I know we usually do this whole song and dance about how electric the week has been and I take you on a chronological journey of the week past, but this week is a little different. And I just wanted to be the first to tell you that Eagles are going to the Super Bowl.
Sorry, haters:

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, it’s time to start paying attention to the Chargers:

402 passing attempts. From September 30th-December 16th; Aaron Rodgers’ threw an NFL-record 402 passing attempts without an interception. Streak, thanks to Eddie Jackson, who hurt his ankle on the play, is over.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) December 16, 2018
If this the legitimate beginning of Aaron Rodgers’ decline, those cap figures of $26.5M, $32.6M, & $33.5M over the next three seasons are going to hurt. #overreactionsundayhttps://t.co/Lh9Hfbp70e
— Spotrac (@spotrac) December 16, 2018
The thing that really hurts is, the Packers absolutely did not have to give Rodgers that contract. They still had him for two more years at affordable salaries, then they had the franchise tag after that. Giving him a huge raise was not smart. https://t.co/okD0Gjg9eP

I’m not gonna say I told you the Steelers were good, but …
The Steelers used five wide receivers on 17 snaps yesterday (inc. penalties), including every snap on Brown’s TD drive.
That was the first time they’d used that package all season and the first time the Patriots had seen a 5WR look from any opponent, per data from @SharpFootball
— Zack Cox (@ZackCoxNESN) December 17, 2018
Some have tried to rain on the Steelers win today…have heard this more than once: “WELL, THE PATRIOTS AREN’T ELITE!!!”
OK, tell me which AFC teams are this season?

I still find it hilarious that I’m older than Gronk cause, some days, it feels like that dude has been in the league as long as Brady. https://t.co/agq7B4uxRK

The Saints face off against the Panthers today. And normally, I’d say this will be a blowout. But the NFC is a crowded place, and since the Eagles have basically already punched their ticket to the Super Bowl, I’m going to wish Drew Brees & Co. the best of luck.
May the best team win. Kickoff is at 8:15 p.m. EST.
