Carrie Underwood once again proved why she’s loved by pretty much everybody in America.

The country music superstar sings the music for “Sunday Night Football,” and apparently one Twitter user isn’t a fan. (RELATED: These Are The Greatest Photos Of Carrie Underwood On The Internet)

Sports Illustrated’s Jessica Smetana tweeted, “I love that NBC has been reading everyone’s Collinsworth slide tweets because it means they’ve also been reading all the tweets about how much we hate the new Carrie Underwood song.” (SLIDESHOW: These Women On Instagram Hate Wearing Clothes)

In a pure class response, Underwood tweeted back Monday, “Hey, I know my music isn’t for everyone, but I love what I do and I love being a part of @SNFonNBC ! I am one lucky lady! I also love women who build other women up…just saying…”

You can listen to Underwood’s “SNF” song below.

This response is a perfect example of why Underwood is so great. She didn’t need to get nasty. She didn’t need to get mean. She just kept it to the facts. Sure, just about everybody loves Underwood’s music, but she understands if a few don’t. That’s what we call a class response.

You also have to love how she hit her with the girl power line to end the whole response. Couldn’t have been anymore perfect. Absolutely incredible on all fronts.

As they say, if you come for the king (queen in this situation), you damn sure better not miss. I’m pretty sure if it comes down to it, America as a whole would go to war for Carrie Underwood. I don’t have any scientific polling to back that up, but I absolutely believe it to be true.

Underwood is a legend in the music industry, and now she’s starting to make me think she’s also a legend on Twitter. Go, Carrie, go!
