It appears that Alabama could be set at the quarterback position for years to come.

On Wednesday, Taulia Tagovailoa, the younger brother of Crimson Tide phenom Tua Tagovailoa, committed to Alabama to play quarterback. (RELATED: Nick Saban Makes Major Announcement About Alabama’s Quarterback Situation)

Taulia had been committed to the Crimson Tide for some time, but rumors were abound that he might be hesitant to follow in his older brother’s footsteps.

Before the Crimson Tide’s 29-0 drubbing of LSU, Taulia was seen walking around Tiger Stadium with LSU head coach Ed Orgeron, decked out in Tigers gear. That made some Alabama fans nervous, but that is all put to rest now.

Taulia played his final two years of high school football for Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama after his family relocated from Hawaii.

While Taulia is not as good of a passer as his brother (who is?), he is already a significantly better runner. A couple of years in the Alabama system, and he’ll be sitting on the Heisman stage in New York as well.

That sound you hear is the terrified screams of every other fanbase in the country.
