Washington Capitals defenseman Tom Wilson lit up Pittsburgh Penguins player Jamie Oleksiak Wednesday night.

According to Hockey Night in Canada, the two have had a beef between each other since a shot that was thrown during the playoffs last season. The two haven’t been on the ice together since then.

Well, that all changed Wednesday night. Wilson immediately gunned for Oleksiak, and obliterated him.

To call the altercation a fight wouldn’t even really be accurate. It was incredibly one-sided, and the Canadian-born defenseman for the Penguins had no chance.

Watch the crazy video below.

Ladies and gentlemen, that’s the definition of getting your ass kicked. Now, I could make an argument that Wilson kind of cheap shotted him here because it does appear that he almost jumped him.

Although, that really doesn’t ultimately matter. A fight is a fight in the NHL and you always need to keep your head on a swivel. (RELATED: Ottawa Senators Player Trades Punches With Detroit Red Wings Star. Who Won The Fight?)

If you don’t, then Tom Wilson will try to take it off.
