In what started on this show when Ann Coulter denounced President Donald Trump for refusing to stand up to Democrats and demand funding for a border wall, and ballooned into a chorus of criticism from conservatives, the war for the wall is engaged. While it’s something to celebrate, it should never have come to this. It shouldn’t be hard to get people to do what they were elected to do, what they told us they’d do if we elected them. And with Democrats taking over the House on January 3, this is their last chance to do it.

The House passed a funding bill for government that included $5 billion for the wall, now the fight moves to the Senate with a shutdown looming.

Everywhere, “journalists” are beside themselves at the prospect of a shutdown, or so they say. CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, in an amazing display of activism, advocated for “compromise” to avoid a shutdown in a debate with presidential advisor Stephen Miller. It was an exchange for the ages that has to be heard to be believed.

Last week we sat down for an interview with Brian Kilmeade. The popular Fox host talks about how he got his start on a 976 number and worked his way through the sports world to become a successful television and radio host, not to mention bestselling author. Then we talk about Andrew Jackson and the important role he played in American history both as a general and president. It’s an informative and funny interview.
