It looks like Pittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner will be ready to play this weekend against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Conner has been nursing a bum ankle, but was a full participant in practice Wednesday, according to NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport.

That’s good news for the Steelers and their fans because Pittsburgh has to win this weekend in order to get into the playoffs. Plus, they need a little extra help, such as the Baltimore Ravens losing.

So, they need all the help they can get right now, and Conner being healthy enough to play would be huge for the Steelers. (RELATED: Here Are The Best Moments From Week 15 Of The NFL Season)

It really has been incredible watching the young running back this season. He’s been making plays all over the field and has 12 touchdowns on the season.

That’s nothing to sneeze at. He’s out there making plays after Le’Veon Bell opted to sit the season out.

The team is going to absolutely need him at the top of his game Sunday if they want any shot at the postseason.

It should be fun. Tune in to CBS at 4:25 p.m. EST to catch all the action.
