Stanford football coach David Shaw might be great at the game he teaches, but he’s a horrific dancer.

A video of Shaw in a sombrero hat dancing ahead of the Sun Bowl against Pittsburgh is generating attention for all the wrong reasons.

I love the hat, but the dance moves might be among some of the worst I’ve ever seen. I’m not exaggerating even a little bit. They’re so bad that a suspension of the program might be warranted. (RELATED: The College Football Playoff Begins Saturday. Here’s Everything You Need To Know)

Watch the laugh-out-loud video below.

David Shaw is really one of the most brilliant minds in all of football. Anybody who can’t see that is beyond saving. The man knows his stuff with the best of them. There might not be another man in the country who has accomplished what Shaw has considering the academic barriers present for recruiting at Stanford.

It’s truly incredible.

That still doesn’t absolve him of his atrocious dance moves. They are right up there with my own, which are some of the worst on the planet.

I thought Stanford was going to kill Pittsburgh. They should win by 50. However, I’m not sure I can take a team with a coach that moves with the rigidness of a dead body. I’m just not feeling it.

Boys, it might be time to put a little money down on the Panthers. I feel a shift in our fortunes after watching that video.
