People won’t have to break the bank in order to get a ticket to the college football national championship game between Clemson and Alabama.
According to Darren Rovell, there are hundreds of tickets for sale under $400.

I did a quick search on SeatGeek, and was able to find tickets elevated on the sideline for under $275 with fees. That is insanely cheap. It’s not as cheap as tickets the Fiesta Bowl, but seeing a national title game for under $300 is insane. (RELATED: Who Will Win The College Football National Championship? You’d be foolish not to go at that rate. I’m not sure we’ll see tickets that low anytime in the near future.

I know $300 is a lot of money to some people, and I’m not trying to minimize the value of cash, especially when you add in flights and hotel.
Having said that, would anybody really care about $300 in 10 years? The answer is an overwhelming no.
I’d spend ten times that if the Badgers made the national championship, and I wouldn’t even hesitate to do it. Now, Wisconsin was awful this year and we’ve never won a football title, so it’s a shade different.
