Tim Tebow Proposes To Miss Universe Girlfriend: ‘You’re The Love Of My Life’

Tim Tebow has gone and made his relationship with the former 2017 Miss Universe, Demi-Leigh Nel Peters, official after he proposed to her.

“Thank you for saying YES and making me the happiest man in the world. You’re the love of my life, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you,” the 31-year-old former National Football League player captioned his post Thursday on Instagram, along with a couple of shots of the big moment showing him down on one knee to pop the question. (RELATED: Here’s The Advice Tim Tebow Gave Tom Brady About Looking After Aaron Hernandez)

The caption next to a series of snaps from the big day read, “Any dreams I’ve ever had, you’ve exceeded them all! I love you and I can’t wait to spend forever with you! @timtebow.”

Tebow and Peters made headlines just before the holidays with reports that New York Mets outfielder had invited his girlfriend to spend Thanksgiving with his family.

At the time, rumors were that things were getting serious between the pair. Following the gathering, both posted pictures on their social media accounts from the festivities.

“Truly thankful for everything God has let me be a part of this year. Family. Friends. @demileighnp,” Tebow captioned his post.

The South African beauty captioned her post, “My first American style Thanksgiving with the sweetest family. Grateful for an incredible year and everyone I got to share it with. #Thanksgiving.”

The former Heisman Trophy winner first confirmed they were an item last July during his appearance on ESPN.

“She is a really special girl and I am very lucky and blessed for her coming into my life,” the professional baseball player shared at the time.
