Fans of the Philadelphia Eagles aren’t pleased with me at all.
The Eagles fell to the Saints on Sunday night after Nick Foles threw an interception off the hands of Alshon Jeffery.

This had me wondering whether or not the same play would have happened if Carson Wentz were in the game. (RELATED: Here Are The Best Moments You Might Have Missed From The NFL Divisional Playoff Games)
Carson Wentz would never have thrown that interception. That’s what happens when you play a backup in big games.
The Eagles got what they deserved for sticking with Nick Foles.

The tweet above generated hundreds of responses, and most of them were downright hilarious.

If the ball hits you in the hands and job is a “receiver” you catch the ball. Even Jeffrey knows that the interception is 100% his fault.

What an asinine comment. Perfectly thrown ball went through Jefferies hands. Also, he was Super bowl MVP, so there’s that.

I’m a giants fan and that comment was just ignorant. That was a perfectly thrown ball. Jeffries just didn’t catch it.

You can see all the rest of them just by clicking on the tweet. Trust me, they’re absolutely worth reading.
Now, I’d just like to point out the facts of the situation. Foles threw the ball, it got picked off and the Eagles season came to a crashing end. Excuse me for pointing out what the rest of the nation saw.
I simply asked if it would have been different if Wentz threw the ball. I thought we were supposed to embrace debate in this country.

Instead, it turns out it wasn’t just snowing in Washington, D.C. yesterday. There were snowflakes falling all over Twitter.
I thought fans from Philly were all supposed to be badasses. I thought people from Philadelphia were supposed to be some of the toughest people on the planet.
It turns out that people from Philly get triggered like none other if you simply point out the facts. The fact is Foles threw the ball and ended the Eagles season. You know who didn’t throw a season ending interception? Carson Wentz.
These are the facts. You can hate them all you want, but they’re not going to change.
