Nashville Predators forward Rocco Grimaldi had a goal for the ages Tuesday night in a 7-2 win over the Washington Capitals.

Grimaldi somehow managed to spin off his defender and score off a backhanded shot. Does that sound pretty incredible to you?

Well, the video is probably even crazier than you’d think. Watch his insane goal below.

That’s honestly almost too much sauce to handle. Grimaldi just let it rip before the goalie or the defender really realized what was going on.

There’s no chance at all the goalie was prepared. He was just watching Grimaldi do a bit of a dance and the next thing you know the puck is in the back of the net. (RELATED: NHL Ref Takes Puck Straight To The Groin. The Video Will Twist Your Stomach)

Again, it really doesn’t get much sexier than that shot.

Would it work if he tried it again? Probably not because no goalie is going to let himself get embarrassed like that twice, but you can’t take away that goal from Grimaldi at this point.

What a great shot and incredible moment for the Predators.
