World-famous singer and songwriter Bebe Rexha could win big at this year’s Grammy Awards — if she can find a designer to dress her.

The “Meant To Be” singer, 29, claims she’s having a hard time looking forward to the awards ceremony because designers don’t want to dress her because of her size. She aired her grievances during an Instagram story compilation Monday. (RELATED: Celebrate Jennifer Lopez’s Birthday With Her Best Instagram Photos [SLIDESHOW])

“So, I finally get nominated at the Grammys and it’s like, the coolest thing ever. And a lot of times, artists will go and talk to designers and they’ll make them custom dresses to walk the red carpet,” she said. “So I had my team hit out a lot of designers, and a lot of them do not want to dress me because I’m too big. Literally, I’m too big.”

“If a size 6/8 is too big, then I don’t know what to tell you. Then I don’t want to wear your f—king dresses. ‘Cause that’s crazy. You’re saying that all the women in the world that are size 8 and up are not beautiful and they cannot wear your dresses,” she added. “So all the people who said I’m thick and can’t wear dresses: F—k you, I don’t wanna wear your f—king dresses.”

Being weird

I’m not exactly a fashion designer but I’d hardly say Bebe Rexha is plus-sized. The average woman’s dress size in the US is between a 16-18, and Rexha claims she’s a 6-8. That’s a solid 10 sizes below the national average.
