Jason Bateman brought home the award for Best Male Actor in a Drama Series at Sunday’s 2019 SAG Awards, but the actor gave credit entirely to his family for his massive success this year.

Bateman, who was recognized for his work on Netflix’s hit drama “Ozark,” took time after the show to acknowledge his wife’s pivotal role in his career. (RELATED: Netflix Announces It Biggest Price Hike Yet. Here’s What Subscribers Need To Know)

“They’re not impressed,” Bateman said of his family, who has grown used to his unconventional and demanding work. “They’re used to me working weird hours or not being in town a lot. My wife [Amanda Anka] keeps me really grounded by doing nothing other than just being her.”

Bateman lavished praised on Anka, saying she was the only reason his family keeps thriving.

“She’s got a full-time career herself, and she’s able to be an incredible mom, and she’s also almost a full-time dad too because I’m out of town so much,” he said. “I’m floored by that. That keeps me grounded. That reminds me that I’ve got a real strong example to kind of live up to what she’s showing.”

“I would like to say specifically though to my wife, my two daughters — Amanda, Franny and Maple — without you, none of it would be enjoyable and it probably wouldn’t be possible,” he added before exiting the stage. “I love you more than I even tell you I do, and I’ll be home for kisses so don’t go to bed. Amanda, pop a mint, I’m going to come give you yours in about 5 minutes.”
