Graham Harrell is the new offensive coordinator for the USC Trojans.
Bruce Feldman announced the news shortly before midnight Monday. The former Texas Tech gunslinger and NFL quarterback is only 33 years old. Salary details haven’t been released yet.
BREAKING: #NorthTexas OC Graham Harrell just accepted the offer to become the new offensive coordinator/QB coach at #USC, per sources. The 33-year-old former NFL QB has helped UNT to Top 25 offenses the past two seasons.

This whole situation with USC and their offensive coordinator position is just wild. They first had Kliff Kingsbury, but he left for the Cardinals and now they have a former college star that is only 33. That is absolutely mind-blowing to me. You couldn’t script this kind of drama if you put a bunch of writers in the same room. It should be fascinating to see how the Trojans do on offensive with Harrell leading the way.

I don’t want to stab a knife into the hearts of Trojans fans everywhere here, but it would be absolutely hilarious if Harrell got poached by an NFL team in the near future.
Now, that might successfully break the football world.

Things are never slow in Los Angeles, and USC’s search for a new OC has been as exciting as anything else in the college football offseason.
What a wild ride!
