Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Wade Phillips has a genius idea for stopping Tom Brady in the Super Bowl.

The Patriots quarterback has won five rings by slicing and dicing up the best defenses in the league, but Phillips has a very unique plan to stop the NFL legend. (RELATED: Rams Coach Wade Phillips Wears Cowboy Hat To The Super Bowl)

ESPN’s James Palmer tweeted Monday night, “I asked Wade Phillips about planning for Tom Brady in the postseason and what’s the plan this time around. He told me his plan is to get an earpiece with Tony Romo in it to tell him what’s going to happen before each play.”

Phillips is quickly becoming one of the best content generating machines at the Super Bowl. It seems like everything this guy says and does is hilarious.

First he rocked an incredible outfit on his way to Atlanta, and now he’s dropping references about Romo’s apparent ability to see into the future. I’m loving this dude. (RELATED: The Patriots Will Face The Rams In The Super Bowl)

Way too many guys in sports take themselves too seriously. Clearly, Phillips has an outstanding sense of humor, and we could use a few more guys like that.

I do hope that he is actually putting together a real plan, though. Relying on Tony Romo is funny, but it could lead to the Patriots winning by about a billion.

Let’s all hope Phillips manages to stay in front of the cameras for the next few days. I want this guy’s opinions on absolutely everything. He can’t get enough screen time as far as I’m concerned.
