Former Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Kyler Murray will attend the NFL draft combine in March.

Adam Schefter announced the news on Twitter Thursday afternoon that the 2018 Heisman winner would attend the biggest NFL scouting event in the country.

If you’re a fan of the Oakland Athletics, you can’t be happy at all right now. The A’s hold his MLB rights, and have been trying their hardest to get him to choose baseball.

The fact he’s heading to the combine should be a pretty clear indication that the NFL might have the edge right now. (RELATED: Jon Gruden Sounds Very Impressed By Kyler Murray, Isn’t Worried About His Size)

Of course, I’ve been speculating for a long time that he’d choose the NFL over the MLB.

If Murray balls out at the combine, he’ll solidify himself as a first-round pick in the NFL draft. Hell, he could even go in the top 10 with a good enough performance.

This journey watching and waiting for Kyler Murray to make his pro decision has been fascinating, and it’s only going to get crazier as he gets deeper into the process.
