Dana White recently gave a little insight on who Conor McGregor could fight next.

The Irish-born star hasn’t been in the octagon since getting whipped by Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229(SLIDESHOW: These Are The Greatest Ronda Rousey Photos On The Internet)

Now, it sounds like a matchup with Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone could be on the horizon for McGregor. (SLIDESHOW: These UFC Women Really Hate Wearing Clothes)

“If these two want to fight each other, they’ve both earned, they both deserve it, let’s do it,” White told TMZ in a video posted Friday. (SLIDESHOW: These Are The Sexiest Paige VanZant Photos On The Internet)

It sure seems like the UFC and White are trying to get McGregor back in the octagon as quickly as possible. I don’t really blame them.

He’s the biggest star in the organization by about a country mile, and the sport is simply better when he’s at the top of his game.

Plus, Cerrone is one of the most entertaining guys in the UFC, and a fight between those two could be awesome. That’s a content goldmine waiting to be mined.

I hope this fight takes place and then we get the Khabib rematch. Is that too much to ask for? I don’t think so.

Dana White, make it happen!
