‘Go Back Home To Mommy’ — Crowd Chants USA! USA! As Trump Sends Protester Packing
President Donald Trump took notice after one of several protesters was summarily dismissed from his Monday night campaign-style rally in El Paso, Texas.
Speaking on a variety of topics to an excited partisan crowd, Trump landed on the 2018 VA Mission Act, passed in June 2018, “so that now rather than waiting online for five days, for nine days, for three weeks …”
The president was interrupted by the crowd stirring behind him, so he paused and looked back.
The crowd chanted “USA! USA!” as a protester was removed off-camera.
“Where do these people come from?” Trump asked. “Where do they come from? They go back home to Mommy. They get punished when they get home.”
The crowd then began chanting, “Build that wall!” (RELATED: ‘Heaven Has A Wall’ — Grocery Store Chain Ad Says The Afterlife Is On Trump’s Side)
“Now, you really mean ‘finish that wall,’ because we’ve built a lot of it,” Trump quipped.
The El Paso County Coliseum event is Trump’s first “Make America Great Again Rally” of the year, according to Fox News, and took place half-a-mile away from a border wall protest led by former Democratic Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke.
