Los Angeles Clippers forward Montrezl Harrell unloaded on a fan Monday night during a game against the Timberwolves.

“Sit over there and be a fan. Shut the f**k up now,” Harrell could be heard saying clear as day to a fan sitting under the hoop as the T-Wolves shot some free throws. (RELATED: NBA Star Has Sobering Words Every American Should Hear About Social Media)

Do you hear that sound off in the distance? That’s the sound of the NBA delivering a nice fine in the mail to Harrell. You can bet every penny you have in the bank that the league isn’t overly pleased with one of their players cursing out fans.

I can promise you that much. NBA players get paid a ton of money, and they’re expected to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects that.

Now, don’t get me wrong on this one. I find it hilarious that Harrell just turned to a dude under the hoop and started cussing him out. That’s some great NBA content, but that doesn’t mean the league will like it.

Did the internet love it? I’m sure it did, but the men running the league don’t give a damn about that.

They’re going to want to send a message, and it’s going to cost Harrell some money.

Still, it was probably worth it. Anytime you can set the internet on fire by telling somebody to “shut the f**k up,” it’s worth doing.

After all, I think it’s safe to say we’ve all wanted to do that to somebody in our lives at one point or another. Harrell actually just pulled the trigger on getting it done.
