The 26-year-old Machado previously played for the Baltimore Orioles, before being traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the middle of the 2018 season. Machado played a major role in the Dodgers World Series appearance last year and will look to turn around the fortunes of a Padres franchise that hasn’t had a winning season since 2010.
Now, all that’s left to figure out is where Bryce Harper will sign so fans can move on and get ready for the upcoming season.
