Kate Beckinsale’s ex-boyfriend and comedian Matt Rife gave Pete Davidson a little bit of advice regarding his new relationship with Beckinsale Friday.
When TMZ asked Rife if there was any advice he could give to Davidson to make the relationship last, he responded, “Advice for Pete? Man-to-man? Run.”
TMZ caught up with Rife after a comedy show he performed at Laugh Factory. When asked how serious the relationship was Rife answered, “We dated for a year and it was complicated, a lot of ups and downs.” Beckinsale and Rife met at Laugh Factory back in 2017.

Over the weekend, Beckinsale and Davidson were spotted at the Capitals v. Rangers game and shared a little bit of PDA with the world.
I’m not sure if I’m all the way here for this relationship if you want to even call it that. It still weirds me out that she is 20 years older than him. Then, on top of that, she’s had past relationships with people that much younger than her. Seems like she just has a habit of liking them young.
Weirdly, Ariana Grande had nice things to say about the new couple, yet Beckinsale’s ex is giving Davidson the advice to “run”? Weird.
