In the middle of March Madness, one special bird was almost able to match the excitement of a thrilling NCAA basketball game.
A turkey vulture crashed into the ESPN office of one Stephen A. Smith, colleague Adam Schefter reported Tuesday. The legendary ESPN commentator was not hurt, although the bird presumably did not have the same luck. (RELATED: Stephen A. Smith Makes The Dumbest Comment Of The Year)

First off, it’s great news that nobody was actually hurt. I’m sure this was a scary way for folks at ESPN to start their Tuesday morning, but it appears every person escaped unscathed.
Stephen A. himself seems to be taking everything in stride:
Hey @AdamSchefter, what can I say. I’m missed 🙂 https://t.co/iCmQ0eKBSr

While Smith takes a lot of heat for some of his more outlandish comments, I’m actually quite fond of the guy. He’s a great reporter and a good commentator, and I can’t wait to see what he has to say about all this. (RELATED: Chargers Give Epic Response To ESPN’s Stephen A. While few take on Stephen A. and make it out unscathed, it appears that the turkey vulture still hasn’t given up the fight.
