Born in Huntington, New York, the daughter of opera singer Patricia Carey and vocal coach Alfred Roy Carey proved in 1990 that she had the skills to go all the way. The “Always Be My Baby” hitmaker is still the only artists since the Beatles who has had so many #1 albums and singles and holds the title of the most successful selling female artist in music history.
