Pat McAfee looks as ready as ever to get in the booth for “Monday Night Football.”

The former NFL punter released a video of himself on “The Lefkoe Show” Thursday morning filming their audition for “MNF” on ESPN. (RELATED: ‘Monday Night Football’ Needs To Consider Putting Pat McAfee On The Broadcast)

Who knows if anybody from the network will see it, but it’s awesome. Watch it below.

For what it’s worth, McAfee also appeared on ESPN this morning. Read into that as much as you want, but maybe there’s some fire where there’s smoke.

If they’re bringing him on the network, maybe they’re giving him a run at the booth.

McAfee, who used to play for the Colts, needs to get on the “MNF” broadcast. It just has to happen. The man is pure electricity. Everything he says is funny, and the video above is only further proof of that fact.

I don’t ever ask for anything from ESPN. I don’t do it! Now, after 26 years of life, all I’m asking for is for our favorite former punter to do the games on Monday nights.

Is that too much to ask? I really don’t think so. Not at all.
