Actress, model, and businesswoman Leighton Meester was born April 9, 1986.

Meester burst onto the scene at the young age of 21, when the series began in 2007. It lasted until 2012, when it was finally revealed who the infamous “Gossip Girl” actually was. For the sake of avoiding any spoilers, I will refrain from revealing who that is, but the show is definitely a must-watch if you’ve never seen it.
While Meester is best known for her breakout role in “Gossip Girl,” it is hardly her only hit on the big screen. She also starred in riveting films such as “Country Strong,” “The Roommate,” and “Monte Carlo.”
Meester has already had an incredible career and it’s just getting started.
