“SEAL Team” was solid in the latest episode “Paradise Lost” on CBS.

WARNING: THERE ARE SOME SERIOUS SPOILERS BELOW. CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED.

I’m going to be honest with you all on this episode. I wasn’t very impressed for the first 85% of it. It seemed very slow-moving and nothing was really happening.

Bravo was still in the Philippines training up their troops and it felt like we were moving at the pace of a snail. I couldn’t believe how slow things were going. (RELATED: New ‘SEAL Team‘ Episode ‘Dirt, Dirt, Gucci’ Is Excellent)

That’s not what “SEAL Team” is supposed to be about at all. However, things took a wild turn in the final moments. As the boys were drinking some beer relaxing, multiple bombs detonated.

It looked like the entire team would be just fine after the first bomb went off. Unfortunately, Clay suffered some brutal injuries from the second one, and was airlifted back to America.

For as much as I hated the first 30 minutes, the final third of the show was very solid and unexpected. The damn bad guys have put Clay on the sidelines.

Given that he’s one of the most popular characters on the show, I find it extremely hard to believe that he’ll die. There’s no chance at all he gets killed off.

As for Davis, she’s still in OCS and struggling. There’s really nothing major to update there. This felt like a very uneven episode that finished off incredibly strong.

We’ll have to wait and see what we get next week. Hopefully, it doesn’t start off as slow.
