Josh Rosen’s fate with the Arizona Cardinals might not be sealed just yet.

Everybody seems to be under the impression the organization will take Kyler Murray first overall, and send Rosen elsewhere. However, that might not actually be the case.

According to Ian Rapoport on Monday, the second-year quarterback has “impressed” head coach Kliff Kingsbury. (RELATED: Kyler Murray Meets With The Arizona Cardinals)

Well, this whole situation just keeps getting crazier and crazier. I almost feel bad for Rosen. The young man is extremely talented, but he’s almost certainly going to get replaced on Thursday. It seems like any news about him impressing anybody is just dragging the whole situation out.

Having said that, it is a bit crazy the Cardinals are letting it be known he’s impressing. Seems like they’re still having his back, despite the fact everybody thinks Kyler Murray is going first overall.

The question is who will take Rosen if the Cardinals do pull the trigger on the Heisman-winning, dual-threat quarterback.

You’d think there’d be plenty of suitors. The man was a first-round pick in 2018. There’s no chance he’s struggle to get another job.

We’ll find out what the Cardinals plan on doing Thursday. I still think they’re locked in on Murray, and I doubt that changes unless Rosen turns into Brett Favre in the next few days.

The NFL is a crazy world, and it’s best to prepare for any outcome. Still, I’m not holding my breath on Kingsbury passing on the young star out of Oklahoma.
