Model Erin Heatherton sounds like she’s in some major financial trouble.
Heatherton is one of the most famous models on the planet. She is so famous that she dated one of the most respected actors of all time: Leo DiCarpio, which makes this whole situation even more mind-boggling.

The Blast reported the following details on her situation:
According to court documents, Heatherton – real name Erin Bubley – filed for Chapter 7 earlier this year, listing $6,465.57 in assets and $560,242.13 in liabilities.

Erin and Leo dated from December 2011 until October 2012. The docs note in 2010, the model took out three credit cards with City National Bank. She currently owes $11,514 on one card, $9,485 on another and $194,602.49 on a third for a total $215,601.49.
She also owes another $201k to City National for a line of credit, $100k from a legal battle with a former business partner, and $41k in back taxes to the state of New York.
You probably think she’s making a lot of money because she’s famous and even dated DiCaprio at one point. Well, if you think that’s the case, I’ve got some news for you. Heatherton is 30. Seems like somebody along the way should have told her this. I don’t know how she plans on getting out of this. Modeling opportunities don’t exactly fall out of the sky for women in their 30s. I’m sorry if that sounds harsh, but it’s absolutely true.
Might be time for Heatherton to pick up the phone and give DiCaprio a call. He could drop $500,000 without even noticing it was missing.
Honestly, I’m not sure what other options she has.
