“Silver Spoons” actor Rick Schroder was arrested for allegedly punching his girlfriend in the face.
Cops were called to Schroder’s Los Angeles home early Wednesday morning for a domestic violence incident, TMZ reported.
Both Schroder and his girlfriend were interviewed by police and the “NYPD Blue” actor was then arrested for felony domestic violence.

Schroder’s girlfriend reportedly refused medical treatment at the scene. Schroder remains in jail and his bail is set at $50,000.
This isn’t the first time the actor has been taken into custody for domestic violence allegations. Police were called to Schroder’s home once before on April 2. Schroder reportedly had punched his girlfriend in the face after she attempted to leave his home. The former child actor was released from jail after posting bail.

Schroder is best known for his role as Ricky Stratton on the 1980s sitcom “Silver Spoons.” In 2016, Schroder’s ex-wife Andrea Bernard filed for divorce. The couple had been married for 23 years. The couple shares four children together.
His ex-wife cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce and reportedly filed just weeks shy of the couple’s 24th wedding anniversary.
