“Avengers: Endgame” has crossed an incredibly impressive mark at the box office in China.

According to The Hollywood Reporter Thursday morning, the film has made more than $500 million in the country and is the first American film to make more than half-a-billion dollars in China. (RELATED: ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Earns $1.2 Billion During Its Opening Weekend)

If you ever wondered why films are starting to market toward Asia, you should stop wondering. There is plenty of money to be made in that market. This update comes after the film already cashed in at a tune north of $1.2 billion during its opening weekend debut a few days ago.

That’s some serious cash, and you can expect the number to only continue to climb as more and more time goes by. This film is going to just stack up cash until it finally leaves theaters.

According to the same THR report, there could be more than $100 million still waiting to be made in China. Like I said, the number will only keep getting bigger and bigger.

The fact it keeps making so much money only makes the decision to end the saga that much more perplexing. Sure, it’s been going on for a long time, but Hollywood isn’t an industry known for leaving money on the table.

It should be a ton of fun to see where this movie cashes out before it’s all said and done.

Avatar” closed out at $2.78 billion. Can “Endgame” catch the highest grossing film of all-time? I wouldn’t be willing to bet against it. That much is for sure.

Let us know in the comments if you’ve seen it and what your thoughts are. I look forward to hearing them.
