One movie is absolutely crushing at the box office this week.
As the fifth installment in the “Avengers” franchise, “Avengers: Endgame,” goes into its second weekend, it has already earned $1.785 billion at global box offices, according to the Hollywood Reporter Friday. (RELATED: One Movie Is Expected To Obliterate The Box Office. The Numbers Are Huge)

The box office smash is now the fifth highest grossing film of all time with $121.4 million at the global box office Thursday. And it has already surpassed “Jurassic World” at $1.67 billion from Universal. (RELATED: ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Directors Issue Plea To Fans Ahead Of Highly-Anticipated Release)
Opening weekend from the Disney/Marvel movie broke previous records, earning $1.22 billion globally, which included a $357.1 million total in North America box offices alone.
Other films out now aren’t even close with second place earnings going to “The Intruder” with $865,000 on it’s Thursday night openings and the romantic comedy “Long Shot” with $660,000 on Thursday.
The final installment from directors Joe and Anthony Russo brings back such fan favorites as Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson and Robert Downey Jr., just to name a few. I finally saw it last night and I have to say it completely lives up to the hype, without giving away anything further. Of course, I wouldn’t spoil it for you!
